Welcome to Downtown Quesnel

Quesnel has a thriving downtown business centre and continues to grow. Come and check out the hometown atmosphere at the Spirit Square in the heart of downtown. You can find everything you need within walking distance. We have restaurants, unique shops, banks, pharmacies, hardware, vehicles and the list goes on and on.

Downtown Quesnel is home to Lebourdais Park, the regional library, the "Little People" Fire Hydrant Walking Tour, the Quesnel Twin Ice Arenas rinks, curling rink and the beautiful River Front Trail. From May to October Downtown Quesnel is pleased to welcome the the Quesnel Farmers' Market to Helen Dixon Centre and the guests and staff of Rocky Mountaineer Vacations.

Who We Are

The Quesnel Downtown Association (QDA) is a non-profit organization that promotes the Quesnel Downtown area as a business improvement area (BIA).

Our organization is largely funded through a municipal bylaw levy that is reviewed every five years. The annual levy amount pays for new beautification projects, matches with other Provincial and Federal Grants.
