Events
Now that Moonlight Madness is done, we're all about the Santa Extravaganza. We've spent a lot of time thinking of how to have this popular family event and we're excited to hold it once more in the Spirit Square.
Many of the games and activities are coming back, but this time there will be some new things! This year we've added a few of our downtown vendors selling stocking stuffers and small items! Not to worry, There will still be free games for the kids, hot chocolate, cookies and smores!
Unfortunately Santa has decided to self isolate for a few weeks in order to prepare for Christmas Eve, so we will be having some other local mascots to help out instead. Not only is our sleigh back, there will be some Christmas Themed wooden 'cut outs' for photo opportunities!
We know there are other Christmas events in town that Saturday, so we've extended the time we'll be in the Square so that families can check out all the neat activities in town. It will start at 2pm and run until 5pm, when the Quesnel Fire Department will be setting off our Fireworks once more!
The Santa Extravaganza is being designed as a Flow-Through event. This means we will have one entrance / exit, so that people can move through in one direction and still get to try out all the booths! Masks are recommended, and if you are not wearing a mask to please social distance. We hope to make this a great family event with everyone's help!
Update! Santa has decided to make an appearance, while still maintaining his Self-Isolation. At 3pm, he will be making a tour of Downtown, escorted by the Quesnel Fire Department! Be sure to be around to wave to Santa!
