Gold Dust Mall 2022 Recap

Another Billy Barker Days, and Gold Dust Mall are over! It's been 3 years since Quesnel has been able to host this huge event once more. There was so much going on in town during this 4 day festival. The Quesnel Downtown Association is in charge of the Gold Dust Mall and music downtown along our Reid Street.

We look forward to doing this again next year.

If anyone is interested in becoming a vendor at any upcoming Gold Dust Mall, there is a form at the bottom of this page to add your email to our mailing list. Once on the mailing list you will be notified when registration opens once more, usually at the start of March each year.

Thank-Yous

There are many people to thank, all who helped make this even possible!

• The City of Quesnel for permission to use the street, and providing barriers and garbage bins and recycling bins placed about the street.
• Active Rent All, who we rented our chairs from so that people could sit and enjoy the music at the stage
• Quesnel Portable Toilets who we rented 3 port-a-potties from to be placed in the breezeway next to the Canada Post Office, providing some extra facilities downtown.
• Au-Tow who helps move our stage every year from it's storage location to park it down on Reid Street
• Integris Credit Union who has been putting on their Rock Paper Scissors challenge for 2 festivals now, selling hot dogs and adding to our festivities
• The Special Olympics who helped us gather recycling from Reid St
• BK Family Enterprises who provided the large garbage bin.
• James & Sons Electric who set up extra electrical panels for our Vendors to be able to plug into.
• Cariboo Security who provided overnight security on the street.
• Our many helpers and volunteers who helped assemble the stage, and run electrical cords and lots of other little jobs.
• Last but not least is the Billy Barker Days Society who puts on an amazing festival every year!
