Every year, the various Business Associations have run Food Drives in the Late Fall / Early Winter to put towards worthy groups and associations. This year, the Downtown Association is going to be tweaking our food drive to something a little different
We will be collecting food and other household donations through the month of November, to build Care Baskets for our local needy Seniors! We're aiming for a minimum of 25 baskets. If we are able to collect enough to fill more, then we will fill more! Upping the basket count as needed!
Look for donation boxes in participating businesses downtown, or contact the Quesnel Downtown Association for info on how to donate.
Not only are we looking to collect non-perishable food items, but we would like to be able to collect household items, such as:

The Quesnel Downtown Association will be donating Downtown Bucks in every basket we fill!

The QDA is working with the North Cariboo Seniors Council and Better At Home on this endeavor.
